Days begin with a generous breakfast buffet and à la carte favourites such as freshly baked bread, homemade yoghurt and granola, local cheeses and freshly prepared eggs, alongside freshly squeezed juice and good coffee.
Throughout the day, expect light bites such as New York-style bagels, seasonal salads, fresh oysters from the in-house oyster bar or homemade pizza made with authentic Italian dough – served in the dining room, on the pool deck or right on your own terrace. As the sun sets, tapas platters with Italian specialities, smoked salmon and a glass of MCC or wine invite you to linger with ocean views.

The 220-hectare fynbos and beach estate surrounding Pure Sea Boutique Lodge invites hiking, running, cycling and horse riding. Right on the doorstep, guests can enjoy surfing, bodyboarding and refreshing swims in the Atlantic – perfect for ocean lovers. In season, southern right whales can be spotted up close in Walker Bay, while the mysterious Klipgat Caves in the Walker Bay Nature Reserve invite a walk through history.
Special experiences include shark cage diving, visits to the penguin sanctuary, scenic flights along the coast, wine tours to nearby estates, and fat bike tours across the dunes of De Kelders. The four suites at Pure Sea Boutique Lodge – KHOI, SAN, OLOKUN and NAMAKA – are named after African origin stories and each offer 56 m² of pared-back, nature-connected living space with sweeping views of the sea and mountains. Nestled in the fynbos, they combine minimalism with barefoot luxury – ideal for couples seeking privacy, calm and immersive moments in nature. All four suites are identical in layout and amenities: king-size bed, open-plan living and dining area, walk-in rain shower and freestanding bath, COCO-MAT eco mattresses, organic skincare products, a Nespresso machine, minibar/fridge, hidden TV, fibre internet and air conditioning, plus a private veranda with hanging chair, a beach bag with organic cotton towels and binoculars for whale watching. The choice, then, comes down to which name speaks to you most. The lodge is adults-only from age 16, with a maximum of two guests per suite.
Named after the Khoikhoi, the original pastoral people of the Cape, the KHOI Suite opens onto sweeping views of the Walker Bay ocean. Calm and grounded, it invites you to rediscover the ancient bond between people and coastline.
The SAN Suite bears the name of one of humanity's oldest cultures, celebrated for their storytelling, tracking skills and deep connection to the land. From its own veranda, fynbos and sea blend into a quiet, meditative panorama.
