Experiencing the local cuisine is an essential part of a visit to Wild Coast Tented Lodge. The ingredients used for each dish point to the connection with nature, the island home and the progressive creativity of the chefs. The Dining Pavilion serves first-class local cuisine with fresh regional ingredients. Inspired by nature and Sri Lankan flavours, the head chef creates a wide selection of traditional and international dishes. After the evening game drive, you can enjoy a cocktail and snacks at the Ten Tuskers Bar. The bar lies right by the pool and offers a view of the deep-blue Indian Ocean.

The Sanctuary Spa is a tropical oasis on the Indian Ocean, surrounded by unspoiled bush and a gentle sea breeze — perfect for relaxation. Twenty-eight bamboo cocoons scattered across the wilderness — from the Cocoon Suite with a copper bathtub to the Family Suite with its own “Urchin” for the children and the Cocoon Pool Suite with a private round pool.
The luxurious Cocoon Suite (55 sqm) is fitted with a king-size four-poster bed and a spacious bathroom that unfolds around a freestanding, handcrafted copper bathtub. The combination of colonial style and contemporary design, together with the teak floor and high-quality leather details beneath the bright canvas sky, creates an incomparable living atmosphere.
The Cocoon Family Suite (75 sqm) recommends itself as the ideal home for parents with children. The main cocoon for the parents is just as richly appointed as the standard Cocoon Suite, except that another roughly 20 sqm cocoon — also called the Urchin — with two additional single beds and its own toilet for accompanying children adjoins it directly. Thanks to a separate bedroom for young and old, privacy is preserved without having to forgo togetherness.
In addition to the refined luxury and with the same appointments as the Cocoon Suite — a dreamlike king-size four-poster bed and the original bathroom design with a freestanding, handcrafted copper bathtub — the four Cocoon Pool Suites (55 sqm) in total also have their own secluded pool, which is of course shaped just as harmoniously and roundly as the lodge itself. It adjoins the private wooden terrace and invites individual refreshment and relaxation around the clock.
