On the Alpe di Siusi in South Tyrol, one of Europe's largest high-altitude plateaus, COMO Alpina Dolomites sits within the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of the Dolomites. Its façade of quartzite and wood echoes the mineral-rich rock of the surroundings, and the entrance recalls a crevice in the cliff. Cuisine
The cuisine at COMO Alpina Dolomites focuses on regional products with a light, elegant touch: robust cheeses, meadow-raised beef and mountain herbs, alongside dishes from the COMO Shambhala Kitchen. Breakfast is included in your stay. In the afternoon, the Lobby Lounge serves pastries, cakes and savoury bites, and before dinner aperitifs with Champagne and cocktails.
At the Alpina Chalet Grill and Bar, cooking takes place over an open fire, conveniently located right by the slopes. Sassolungo is open exclusively to hotel guests and serves Mediterranean, regional and international dishes. Trattoria Dell'Alpe takes you on a journey from Venice to Verona, and private dinners with mountain views can be arranged on request.
Wellness
COMO Shambhala offers ten treatment rooms, a 22-metre indoor pool and an outdoor pool, a Finnish and a bio-herb sauna with two Kneipp basins and steam rooms with salt or aromas. Relaxation rooms with waterbeds and panoramic views complete every visit. The treatment menu includes sports massages and a hay bath inspired by South Tyrol.
Use of the pools, sauna, steam rooms and fitness centre is included in your stay. Yoga, Pilates and guided meditation take place daily for all levels.
Experiences
In summer, guided hikes lead across the Alpe di Siusi and through the Dolomites, complemented by horseback rides, mountain-bike tours in Val Gardena and a helicopter flight over the World Heritage landscape. In winter, guided ski tours, snowshoe hikes and cross-country trails are available. The hotel's Outdoor Activities Centre organises the excursions.
Families find Play by COMO, a children's world for ages four to twelve with games, creative activities and film nights. For guests who wish to take more time for enjoyment, wine tastings with sommeliers feature Italian and South Tyrolean wines.

COMO Alpina Dolomites offers 60 rooms and suites in a main building and a chalet building, furnished in soft colours with pieces by South Tyrolean artisans. All look out to the Dolomites, most with a balcony or terrace. Extra beds and baby cots are available on request.
The Mountain Room (50 sqm) sleeps up to four guests, including up to two children, with one king or two twin beds. Expansive living and lounge areas and, depending on the room, a balcony or garden access open onto the mountain views.

The Mountain Suite (75 sqm) sleeps up to four guests, including up to two children. It includes a balcony, an expansive living room with a bio-ethanol fireplace and a private infrared sauna.
The COMO Suite (150 sqm) is the hotel's headline suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room with a bio-ethanol fireplace. It sleeps up to six guests, including up to two children.
The Chalet Room (50 sqm) in the chalet building sleeps two guests with one king or two twin beds, a private bathroom and a terrace with an outdoor lounge.
The Alpina Chalet Suite (120 sqm) is located in the circular chalet building with sweeping views of the Dolomites. It offers a spacious bedroom, a separate living and dining area, a guest toilet and a kitchenette.
The Dolomites Chalet Suite (150 sqm) sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a living area and a guest toilet. The curved layout is characteristic of the chalet building.
The COMO Chalet Suite (170 sqm) combines the Chalet Room with the Alpina Chalet Suite. It sleeps up to four guests, including up to two children, in two bedrooms with two bathrooms, plus a shared living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette.
