It is particularly well suited to safaris, as animals gather at waterholes and can be observed in clear conditions. We match route and lodges to your travel dates, so you find the best conditions in every region.
Namibia is a vast country with long distances, so we recommend 12 to 14 days for a tour. This allows you to experience desert, coast and game reserves at an easy pace, without moving on every day. With one week, the journey focuses on one region, such as the south with Sossusvlei or the north with Etosha. If you would like to add further stops or an extension, we suggest allowing at least two weeks. We shape the journey around your wishes and adjust the duration accordingly.
Namibia can be enjoyed as a stand-alone destination or combined ideally with other African destinations such as Botswana and South Africa. If you wish to pair desert and wilderness with culture, coast and wine country, add Cape Town and the Winelands; for further safari experiences, add Botswana. Victoria Falls can also be included. In the north, Etosha National Park takes centre stage, its salt pan and waterholes drawing elephants, lions, rhinos and giraffes.
