Damaraland, Namibia Mowani Mountain Camp

A Luxurious African Ambience

The Mowani Mountain Camp, whose name means “place of God” in the local language, offers a place of incomparable calm and beauty. Embedded in the majestic desert landscape of the southern Damara highlands, near Twyfelfontein, the camp rises among 540-million-year-old ochre rocks. The elevated location opens up spectacular views of the Aba-Huab River valley, framed by sandstone formations, volcanic hills and wide plains.
