Mahé, Seychelles Four Seasons Resort Seychelles
Stillness above the bay
On the secluded bay of Petite Anse on Mahé's southwest coast, the villas perch like tree houses on the granite hillside, surrounded by jungle and looking out over the turquoise waters of the Western Indian Ocean. The interiors blend Creole design with French colonial and European influences, with nature and space at their heart. The sheltered, horseshoe-shaped bay invites swimming and new water sports, while the spa sits at the resort's highest point. Whether as a couple or with family, days can be spent by your own pool, in the sea or on an excursion to the neighbouring islands, with a dinner on the beach to close the evening.

Cuisine
Five restaurants and two bars are spread across hillside, pool and beach. At ZEZ, an Asian izakaya on the hill, the day begins with breakfast and evenings bring a sharing menu. Kannel combines the Mediterranean with Creole tradition, Koi prepares sushi and tempura at its chef's counter, Il Forno bakes Neapolitan pizza right on the beach, and Steak Shack serves grilled dishes from a Josper charcoal oven. ZEZ Bar and the poolside Kannel Bar complete the offering.
On request, a table is set on the beach at sunset or for a Creole barbecue, and in-villa dining is available around the clock. All menus can be adapted to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and dairy-free needs.
Wellness
Le Syel Spa sits at the resort's highest point, with sweeping views over Mahé. Treatments draw on local ingredients, ranging from massages and body treatments to facials and bath rituals in your own villa. Yoga and meditation take place in the hilltop pavilion, on the spa rooftop or in your villa, and the fitness centre is open around the clock.
Experiences
Kayaks and snorkelling equipment are available at no extra charge, and with Tropicsurf you can learn surfing and stand-up paddling in the calm bay. At the Coral Cabana, marine specialists introduce the underwater world, and on the grounds you meet Aldabra giant tortoises. By sailboat or on a fishing trip, you reach remote dive sites.
To see the islands from above, fly by helicopter to La Digue or on a private flight to Desroches Island. Children have the Kids For All Seasons programme, and the spa offers treatments for teenagers aged 12 to 17.
