Four restaurants span cuisines from Japan to the Mediterranean. Saoke floats above the water and serves sushi, sake and teppanyaki, at lunch and dinner by reservation. Vandhoo offers a daily breakfast spread and, in the evening, dishes from Southeast Asia, China and India, while Bellinis serves Italian cuisine with handmade pasta and grappa. In the evening, TUH’U presents Levantine cooking beneath the palms.
At the Chef’s Garden, a small restaurant among flowering beds, lunch is cooked by reservation with ingredients from the island’s own garden. In the wine cellar, the sommeliers lead a tasting daily between 3 and 4 pm (from two guests, by reservation), and at Her Kitchen you learn Maldivian recipes. On request, a table is laid on a private sandbank, in the Manta Treehouse or for a brunch on the beach.
Wellness
The JOALI BEING Cure wellness centre follows the philosophy of sister island JOALI BEING: treatments, therapies and rituals are built around four pillars, mind, skin, microbiome and energy. The range runs from healing massages and sound therapies to skincare rituals with natural products.
Experiences
In the Art Studio, you work on ceramics, glazing and mixed-media pieces with the resident artist. Around the island, installations by Porky Hefer, Misha Kahn and Sophie Kitching are on view, and Maison de JOALI shows resort wear, designer collaborations and accessories.
Beneath the surface, you meet manta rays, a dhoni cruise leads across the lagoon, and tennis, padel and archery keep you active on land. Couples can exchange vows on the beach, and at Muramas Kids Club, children enjoy treasure hunts, small cooking workshops and art activities.

The Beach Villa with Pool (108 sqm) sits on the beach with a view over garden, beach and sea. Living and sleeping areas flow into one room, and carefully chosen design elements shape the interior. The villa comes with a private infinity pool, an outdoor rain shower and a personal Jadugar, the butler. In the bathroom, you find high-quality wellness skincare products. The total area is 680 sqm, and the villa sleeps up to three adults or two adults and one child. For more space, the Luxury Beach Villa offers separate living and sleeping rooms.
The Water Villa with Pool (100 sqm) stands on stilts above the lagoon. Living and sleeping areas flow into one room, and carefully chosen design elements shape the interior. On the broad sun deck lies the private infinity pool, with a view across the lagoon. The villa also comes with an outdoor rain shower and a personal Jadugar, the butler, and the bathroom is stocked with high-quality wellness skincare products. The total area is 240 sqm, and the villa sleeps up to three adults or two adults and one child. For more space, the Luxury Water Villas offer separate living and sleeping rooms.
The Two Bedroom Beach Villa with Pool (157 sqm) suits guests travelling together who still prefer separate bedrooms. It has two bedrooms and a separate living area. The large living room forms the heart of the villa and opens to the broad infinity pool, which faces the sea. Here too, you have a personal Jadugar, an outdoor rain shower and high-quality wellness skincare products. The total area is 865 sqm, and the villa sleeps up to five guests, four adults and two children.
The Two Bedroom Family Beach Villa with Two Pools (142 sqm) suits families and friends travelling together. In the main building, sleeping and living areas are separate, with an additional bedroom in its own villa. Of the two pools, one looks out over the ocean, while the other lies in the garden and offers more privacy. Here too, you have a personal Jadugar, an outdoor rain shower and high-quality wellness skincare products. The total area is 940 sqm, and the villa sleeps up to five guests, four adults and two children.
The Two Bedroom Water Villa with Pool (145 sqm) sits above the sea and offers guests generous space. It has two bedrooms and a separate living room.
